Eligibility for MBBS

Age Limit
Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years  on or before 31st December of the year of admission. 

Qualifying Examination
Admissions will be made for UG & PG Degree programmes through online counseling will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS, Ministry of Health & Family welfare, Government of India, New Delhi on the basis of Marks obtained in the NEET Examinations and the eligibility criteria prescribed by the NMC regulations in accordance with the guidelines and directions issued by the Hono’ble Supreme Court of India / Government of India / National Medical Commission, New Delhi and VMRF-DU from time to time.

ACADEMIC YEAR, ACADEMIC TERM & DURATION OF COURSE OF STUDY
• The academic year commences on 1st August every year.
• The Academic Term for every Student shall be a certified period of study extending over 41/2 academic years followed by one year of Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship.
• First MBBS – 1 year
• Second MBBS – 1 ½ year
• Third MBBS – Part – 1- 1 year
• Third MBBS – Part – 2 – 1 Year
• One year of compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship

Eligibility for PG Courses

To be eligible for admission to MBBS Degree Course, a candidate must have passed in 10+2 / H.Sc. (or) its equivalent examination with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology at the Qualifying Examination and in addition, must have come in the merit list of NEET -UG for admission to MBBS Degree Course.

In respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, the marks obtained in PCB / Biotechnology taken together in the qualifying Examinations must be 40% marks instead of 50%. In respect of candidates with PWD (Persons with Disabilities) the minimum marks shall be 45% for general and 40% for SC/ST/OBC category.

In order to become eligible for admission to MBBS Degree Course for a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of 50th percentile marks in NEET UG. However, in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category the minimum marks must be 40th percentile and PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates the minimum marks shall be 45th Percentile for general category and 40th Percentile for SC/ST/OBC category.

Selection of students
The students applying for PG degrees/PG (Dip) courses under Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) shall be selected based on PG NEET Examination.

Eligibility certificate
Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination shall obtain an eligibility certificate from this university by remitting the prescribed fee along with the application form before seeking admission to the Medical Institutions

M.D. / M.S.

The minimum period of training for obtaining these degrees shall be three calendar years.
Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years on or before the first day of July of the academic year in which the candidate is seeking admission. A Pass in MBBS Degree Course or an equivalent qualification and should have obtained a minimum eligibility percentile in NEET- PG
